In modern history, the Fashion House RICHTER was founded in 1991. Its founder Milan Richter reassumed the First Czechoslovak Republic tradition of his ancestors who carried on a fashion house of the same name. The staff were conscientiously trained at the best fashion houses in Vienna and provided proficient service to contemporary demanding clientele. This good “habit” has persisted in the Fashion House Richter up to the present time.


In 1991, the Richters opened the first fashion house in Vinohradská street, but seeing that its capacity did not suffice for the constantly increasing number of customers, they decided to extend the fashion house to new premises in Maiselova street No. 21.
The new premises of the Fashion House Richter were officially opened on 2nd November 2009 in the presence of Mrs. Halina Pawlovská as a presenter and many eminent clients of the fashion house, journalists and also three most beautiful women of the Czech Republic, winners of Miss Czech Republic 2009: Miss Aneta Vignerová, the first runner-up Miss Lucie Smatanová and the second runner-up Miss Hana Věrná  – the married couple Eva and Milan Richter, owners of the Fashion House Richter, cut the symbolic ribbon and received a pledge and congratulations from all of their friends and fans.
Under one brand name, there are two separated entries and different interior design of the ladies and men’s part of the fashion house at the new address. In both cases, the owners created agreeable environment even for the most demanding clientele, such as TV Nova presenters and other outstanding personalities of the Czech society who have belonged to that clientele for years. This year the Fashion House Richter was also an official partner of the most prestigious beauty competition in the Czech Republic – Miss Czech Republic.
